They should have : retorqued headbolts (not really needed but part of the package), reset belt tension, retorqued all accessible fasteners, oil and filter change, checked swingarm/wheel/headset bearing tension and adjust if needed, lubed cable sleeves and all mechanical pivot points, checked wheel tension (spokes) and wheel runout (hub and rim), front rotor runout and wear pattern, and adjusted the headlight if needed. This is taken directly from the 600 mile service record of my 1998 model Savage, service performed at 1200 miles by Suzuki City in Biloxi Mississippi. If your shop is not up to that standard, a formal complaint is necessary, at least to the dealership owner, if not further up the chain of command. Suzuki has suffered due to poor customer treatment by many dealers around the world, and voicing your complaints to corporate is a good idea. Several local Suzuki shop personnel were recently let go for just this reason. You spent money on their product, and they are obligated, morally and legally, to provide you with necessary services and courteous treatment (alot to ask for, but damn it, we deserve it, this is not a pathetic little toy as most shops seem to think). The full service listed above took under 45 minutes, performed by a shop mechanic with a Brithish bike background, and the dealer owner, a former top Suzuki mechanic. Don't settle for less than you and your machine deserve.
